Hello and welcome to my design portfolio! 

My name is Sara Shields - I am a storyteller, problem solver, and visual communicator striving to create purposeful good design. I enjoy immersing myself into the concepting process in order to develop the best end solution for the client / customer. 

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Visual Arts from Oregon State University in 2014. For the last few years, I have been gaining industry experience while working for a small integrated graphic design and print production studio located in Portland, Oregon. 

As a native Oregonian, I have a strong appreciation for the outdoors and find most of my inspiration through it's colors, textures, and beauty. I am at my best when I have continual projects + crafts keeping my creative juices flowing. Thanks for taking a look at some of my work!
